Advantages: Work very well, Can be used regularly, Natural remedy

Disadvantages: Messy to use!

I bought Boots homeopathic teething granules after reading an advert for the slightly more expensive Nelson version. I opted for the Boots ones because I trust their own brand products to be up to scratch- I wasn't let down.

I'm not sure how these granules work, as I haven't tried them out myself, but I suspect they numb the baby's gums and so soothe the pain for a while. I find that using them in conjunction with teething gel and Calpol works best. At the first sign of a tooth breaking through I dose my son up!

As the granules are homeopathic, there isn't much chance of an adverse reaction. They can be used every two hours for up to six doses which is great if your baby is restless at night due to teething. The only downside is that it can be quite difficult getting them into a baby's mouth- unless they're screaming then you just tip the sachet down their throat!

Handy op. I didn't know that such a product even existed. Sounds as though they should come up with an applicator or something though, to help get the stuff to the upset baby's gums!

Yeah Dentinox is good it's the same stuff as I use. Try the granules as well if he gets worse ;)
