I never knew how much you could worry about a baby until I had my own and as soon as he came along our medicine cabinet got filled up so that I had everything on hand in case I needed it!e

I decided on buying Calpol as it's the one medicine which seems to have been around forever and because of this I trusted that it would be a safe and a do the good job you'd want from a medicine for your baby.

There are many types of calpol you can buy with sachets to the actual syrup as well as ones that suit different ages and theres even different flavours.I had bought the 200ml strawberry flavour one for just over £3 from Tesco which I feel was good for the money as it lasts a long time, as your not using it every day! You dont have to go to Tesco's to buy this though you can go to any pharmacy or supermarket to buy it.

The bottle itself has a child-proof lid which is good as you never have to worry about older children being able to get into it. When you open it the liquid has a very sweet smell so nice in fact it makes me want to eat it all! The liquid is quite thick and so when pouring it onto the spoon it comes out nice and slow so you dont need to worry about it going everywhere!

What is also good about this medicine is that it has a very nice sweet flavour and so it means it is easier to get your child to take it because it tastes nice and I have found this is defiantly the case!

It says that the medicine should be used to treat fevers and pain and in my opnion it works well as usually within 20-30 minutes of my children having it they seem to be feeling better. I found the medicine lasts quite a while as well usually 4-5 hours.

My advice if you have young babies or children get this!
