Before my wife gave birth, she went on a spending spree and insisted we had to have everything..including one of these. Whats wrong with he old style thermometer we have, I asked?

Looking back, thats seems like a stupid question, and im so glad we ended up getting this.

The digital thermometre is great for taking a babies temperature. It is ergomically designed, so its easy to hold, and actaully looks pretty cool too.

Undoubtedly the best thing about this is that it reads the temperature in seconds. All you do is turn it on, wait for the screen to reset itself, then hold it in the babies ear for a second, and the temperature is taken, measuring in tenths too. Being in tenths obviosuly provides greater accuracy, and makes it easier to monitor the baby.

As ypou are able to take a temperature so quickly, it saves aggrivating the baby and having to wait ages for a reading. The ear piece is also hygenic, as you can buy disposable covers for the ears, and the ear piece fits it the ear comfortably.

Its also highly accurate and if you take it several times in succesion, it will pretty much read the same, unlike some other digital thermometers I have witnessed since.
