Advantages: Easy to use, great value, cut nicely
Disadvantages: None
A couple of months ago I misplaced my baby nail scissors and so went in search of some in our local Mothercare store however they were out of stock at the time so I decided I would give the nail scissors a go since the children aren't exactly babies anymore and just hoped that the youngest would stay still enough for me to cut her nails.
These scissors came from Mothercare however you can buy baby nail scissors in other places such as chemists and supermarkets, these ones costs around £2 which I thought was a pretty decent price and actually expected that they would be more considering it's Mothercare.
The scissors came very simply packaged with them being sandwiched between a piece of cardboard at the back and a see through plastic front so you could see the scissors inside. The scissors were pretty simple to open so no need for scissors to get into them.
The scissors are very simply scissor shaped as expected with silver blades and white plastic handles, the handles have large holes in them which is great as I have pretty large fingers for a woman and this makes them comfortable to hold. The scissors are pretty small only about 4 inches in length and sit nicely on our little corner shelves without being seen. The blades of the scissors are rounded to make them much safer for using on little ones and to prevent mishaps.
The scissors are pretty good and they cut really well on Emily's nails who is 2 and still has very soft nails however I would say we won't be able to use these scissors for too long on my elder daughter Sophie who is 5 as her nails are beginning to harden a little now and the blades on these scissors are not meant for hard nails. The scissors are comfortable to hold and they are easy to manoeuvre around the finger nails even with a wriggling little one, the nails cut the soft nails very well.
These scissors are easy to use and great value so I would rate them 5 out of 5.
Summary: Perfect
