I have always sworn by theething rings as they really do 2 jobs in 1.A baby naturally puts things in its mouth when teething and the coldness of the teething rings helps to numb their gums.Personally I have always but the teethers in the freezers to make them extra cold and hard to chew on which is supposed to bring great relief to their sore gums. Teething rings aren't really expensive to buy either costing about £1.99 each.I think they are a must for any teething baby.

I spotted these in Mothercare and they really are a god-send. They are plastic teething rings, in the shape of a teddy and bunny that are actually filled with water. The idea is that you place them in the fridge for a while before offering to baby. They are nice and bright and easy to handle from a very young age. They come in a little, clear, plastic wallet, which at least keeps them clean and away from other items in your fridge. Great idea that really works with my son. They soothe him in an instant.
