“ Brand: Proderm / Health Aid: Suncare „
This product has now been rebranded as Bergaderm and is readily available on the internet by a number of companies.
It comes in a variety of SPF factors. I have been using this for about 10 years and I won't use anything else in our family any more. It seems expensive at about £9 a can but it is worth every penny for the peace of mind it gives me.
A can will last oneadult for just over a weeks holiday - maybe a little more depending on whether it is an adult or a child. You really only need to apply it once a day - and this was its real selling point for me. I was fed up with struggling with small children and tubes of sun cream that seemed to end up everywhere but on the children.
This is great as it is a mousse it is absorbed really quickly and doesn't leave the skin really sticky - great when you are on the beach!!.
We generally go to Spain in August and even when the temperatures are in the high thirties we have not been burnt. We have reapplied to our shoulders and noses during the day but generally we only apply the cream once a day.
It also leaves the skin really soft so if you do have skin problems this is a fantastic sun screen.
I really cannot rate this product highly enough and always recommend it.

It has been fantastic. I have always bought it from Boots the Chemist in the past, but unfortunately they don't seem to sell it this year. I was quite disappointed until a friend told me she had seen it for sale at Matalan. I joined Matalan today, they do actually sell it and it only cost £8.00! I am so pleased that i have managed to get it again. Although if i hadnt looked for it on the internet first, i wouldn't have realised that the label had changed and i may not have recognised it! I would recommend this product to anyone with children (my 13 year old son likes to use it too). I have now also found that Tesco sell this product too 20.07.03
My daughter is two and very fair so I always make sure that she is smothered in sun block every day. I discovered this sun block for sale on a site called Babyworld, it was on special offer in their shop. I was a bit sceptical as I had never heard of the make before but I did like the idea of a mousse as my daughter hates having sun block rubbed in. It was quite expensive at £9.99 (normal retail price £12.99) but I decided to give it a go. I must say that I am really impressed, it rubs in quickly and easy, it is non greasy and perfume free and unlike most sun creams it doesn't stain her clothes. Another bonus is that it leaves her eczema prone skin really soft and doesn't give her that ghostly appearance that some sun block does. It comes in a variety of SPF but I used the factor 30 and can honestly say that her skin hasn't coloured at all (not that we've had much sun!!). The only disavantage to this product is that I haven't been able to find it anywhere other than Babyworld and with their £4.75 deliver charge it makes it more expensive.
