      A good instrument for infants

Long before my baby was born I started working on all the necessary items I shall need thereafter and the health items were the foremost in my list. I couldn't have gone ahead without purchasing a good thermometer for my would be child. I had earlier learnt that ear thermometers are the best for infants and cause very less discomfort and give great results.

I purchased the safety 1st accu scan ear thermometer after studying all t's features carefully. My son would allow me to insert the tip of the thermometer very easily and the method of using it is fairly easy. You just have to press the on/off button and wait till the blinker suggests that the instrument is ready to be used. Then you can insert the tip in any one of the ears (not way too deep inside though) and wait till it beeps (showing that the reading has been taken).

The only problem I had with while using it is that when I use it under arms for my son, the readings are totally different from whe taken from the ear.

Still I would recommend this product because it's a must have and is very easy to use.
