Snuffle Babe is great for babies and young children with stuffy noses and mild colds and is specially designed for babies over three months old. It's very similar to Vicks but has a more pleasant smell and isn't quite as strong so it's easier on little ones noses.
A small amount can be applied to a tissue or soft cloth and placed inside babies bedding but for a more efficient result it is best to apply a small amount to the chest area and even the neck to help eliviate stuffyness in the nose and help baby breath (and sleep) more easily.

It only costs around £2 for the smallest jar (about 25g) and this will last for some time as you only need a very small amount. I have used this on my daughter on several occasions and it has worked very well, you can hear the difference in their breathing even through the baby monitor and it's nice to know they are sleeping better as a result.

2 things that will also help if your child has a blocked nose/cold:

1. You can apply a small amount of Suffle Babe to the soles of the feet before bedtime and this will help to combat a cough, trust me it sounds daft but it's true and it works!

2. Roll up a towel and place UNDER THE MATRESS underneath babies head, ( to raise the matress slightly at one end so it's like a small ramp). This will also help to keep nasal passages clear and aid with clear breathing.
