Yay! My last teether review! Thankfully! I am sure everyone is sick of them now so unless some of the other teethers my daughter had make it on to DooYoo you won't be seeing anymore of these from me!

The First Years Cool Animal teether came in two designs - a fish and a dragon/dinosaur. Both were really colourful. The fish was bright yellow with blue stripes and the dragon/dinosaur was purple with green spots. I ended up purchasing my daughter the fish one as she used to (and still does) really like fishes. Both had smiley happy faces.

The teether was made of a durable soft plastic which indicated that the whole teether was perfectly chewable. Inside the plastic you could feel that it was filled with water/gel. This is the sort of teether that you are able to place in the fridge to chill it to make it nice and cold for your child and soothing for their gums. It takes about 45 minutes to chill to its maximum.

I must add that with this particular teether there was no bumpy bits to rub against the gums. The teether was just completely smooth. It did have a hole in the middle which my daughter found easy to hold the teether with.

The teether stayed cold for around one hour once out of the fridge. My daughter didn't seem overly keen on it and showed even less interest when it didn't do anything, not even rattle but reluctantly tried to chew it. She didn't use it that much to be honest and one day when I was cleaning it the whole thing split even though I was only using cold water and we had only had it for around 3 weeks which I thought was awful. I was just very thankful that it hadn't split in my daughter's mouth.

The teether cost £2.99 and if you ever see one I would avoid it like the plague.

Cold, chewable teether. These bright teethers can be chilled for maximum effect. Easy to hold and fun design makes them a hit with babies.
