      very good teething toy

When babies are teething is can be really painful for them and during this stage they like to chew on things to help bring their teeth through and to help them with the pain. My Mrs bought this for our baby and he likes to have a good chew on it.

We have all kinds of baby teething toys some which are encorporated onto books, others onto soft toys but this is just an all round teething toy.

It has a wide round loop of plastic with little engravings in which are interesting to touch. Hanging off this ring are three teething squares which the Mrs calls keys which I guess in a way they can look like as if they're on a big key ring. Each of these squares is different in terms of details. They are different colours, the ones we have are bright green, orange and a clear one. They have different textures on which are interesting to babies to feel with both their hands and their gums. They are quite firm but have a little giev on them which makes chewing them very satisfying- or so I guess!

These are all plastic so they are all safe to go in the steriliser. Mrs B likes to sterilise this several times a day. Our baby holds it by the ring and chews on the squares. This creates a lot of drool at times but he seems to enjoy it!

We have several other teething toys but he doesn't show much interest in them. This is the only toy he really shows much interest to and uses like he should. Sometimes he will shake it like a rattle as the pieces all bang together but he is quite happy to sit and chew on the pieces. I don't know if it helps him with teething pain but it does keep him quiet!
