Tommee Tippee Puzzle Teether
Advantages: your baby can play with it when not teething
I have to admit to being a bit of a tommee tippee follower, ever since my first son went on to formula and I was recommended their closer to nature bottles. Since then I have bought numerous of their products and have always found them to be very reliable and good value. So whilst shopping in tescos I came across this in the baby section. Our first son wasn't teething at the time but I thought it looked fun and it would come in for when he started. To me it looked bright and interesting something that would attract most little ones.
So this product is not only a teether but a fun puzzle toy too. I think the idea is not only to relieve pain while chewing on it but it also takes their mind off it when playing with it. My son loved it and it was easy to carry around in his pram and car seat. It would keep him amused for a good length of time. My second son is 10 months now and he loves it too. He seems to use it a bit more as a teether then my eldest did. It twist and turns into different shapes and I have to admit to sitting and messing with it too!
The teether is made from strong smooth plastic, there isn't any sharp ridges that may hurt your little one. It consists of different textures with three loops that can be moved round the shape and rubber ridges which are to make it nice to chew on. Inside are small beads that when rattled make a nice noise. I always know when my son is playing with it in the car. The teether is made up of bright colours green, blue, purple and orange all of which are interesting to a baby.
As I have mentioned it easily twist into different shapes. This seems to make it easier when my son is holding it and moving it to his mouth to chew on. He has no problems holding it to chew. It is a good size for him to hold onto. With my second son who seems to be worse with teething it has made a great difference. He loves to sit and chew it.
It cost around £5 which is good value for a toy and teether in one. It is just as good when your babies aren't teething. We bought ours for our son when he was 3 months old now my youngest is using it so it withstands quite a lot. When you little one is teething anything is worth a try and I would recommend this to you.
Summary: well worth a try.
