ELC Light & Sound Buggy Driver ... I bought this when my son was just over a year, I think this is more suitable for a baby who is 6 months, so we didn t really get that much playout of it, especially as we don t go out much in the pushchair and when it was on the floor at home it never got played with as there was more interesting toys to play with. We decided to sell this on eBay and got £9.00 for it and we only paid £15 as ELC had a special offer on. Although they are now selling at £20 in store. I would recommend having a look on eBay as I ve seen them going for as little as £5.00. Early Learning Centre Pretty Polly's Pirate Ship ... now three year old has been going through two main obsessions at the moment - the first is dinosaurs (an infatuation which shows no sign of ending anytime soon) and the second is pirates. For his birthday, he received the ELC Pretty Polly Pirate Ship which is proving to be a popular toy. The pirate ship is a sturdy ship made of a thick plastic, typical of many of the ELC toys. It is brightly coloured, with two blue and gold plastic sales, a lookout point with a telescope, a wheel, a room with doors that open and shut and a hatch down to the bottom of the ship. ELC Wooden Post Box ... bought an ELC wooden post box for my 1 year old last Christmas. It was priced at £15, but I saved £3 with a ELC birthday club voucher. I was specifically looking for a role play toy and liked the fact that this was a solidly designed wooden toy, that looked like it would last. The post box is brightly painted, complete with mock collection timetable on the front. The set includes five coloured wooden letters (painted: blue, orange, pink, yellow and green). The post box has a hinged door so that the letters can be easily removed by the child to post again (and again, and again!).
