ELC Shape Sorter ... had seen this shape sorter in the ELC catalogue but never really paid any attention to it and originally went in to the store to buy something else. When we got there however this caught our eye and when we had a better look it looked like real value for money. The shape sorter has 6 sides 2 of which are the actual shape sorters. One side has holes in the shapes of a star, a cube, a cylinder and a triangle, they are all colour co-ordinated with the shapes that fit in to the holes, each hole makes a different noise when the corresponding shape is put through and makes the 2 shape sorter sides light up. ELC Sizzlin' Kitchen ... purchased this for our children last Christmas when they were aged 2 and 5. To be honest I was not sure whether it would be played with enough to be worth the price or not as it was an expensive toy. The fact that you got the additional accessory kit (on top of that already supplied) free with it was an added bonus and made the price slightly more justified. I don t know why I was was worried it was one of the best thing we have ever purchased for them. They have had many hours of playtime together through this item. ELC HappyLand Spring Meadow Zoo ... almost two year old son has recently begun a collection of the Happyland series of play sets from the Early Learning Centre. Spring meadow zoo is one of his larger and more substantial play sets. It is priced at £40 and so is one of the more expensive sets, with others ranging from £8 for a simple set of figures to £70 for a large village set. Just as with all of the Happyland series, the recommended age range for this product is 18 months to 4 years.
