These stacking cubes are from the Asda “Play and learn” range and are sold as a pack of six. They are designed to stimulate and educate children. These cubes will help your child recognise and learn different colours and shapes. They are suitable for babies over 3 months old. Each cube has pictures on every side, two of these are coloured the other four are moulded. When the cubes are squeezed they squeak. This helps to develop gripping skills. I thought that these cubes were quite good value for money. The only real downside to these was, the squeak! The cubes are harder than I expected, when squeezed you expect them to squeak. This does not happen; there is just a slight noise as the air is squeezed out. This was a bit of a let down. Apart from this they are great. My daughter laughs hysterically when she gets to kick the cubes over when I have built them up into a tower. She also enjoys chewing them. So if nothing else they are great for teething! I am not so sure they should be called soft. Then again they are not hard! But they are still worth buying.
