Well once again Christmas was looming and I had bought all the presents I needed to, OR so I thought. My darling 3 year old decided to change her mind and asked for a Baby All Gone. At first I chose to ignore the constant cravings, eventually 13 days before Christmas I gave in an decided that Santa had better get her one. Easy job I thought, no problem. WRONG again. I searched and requested until I was blue in the face, only to hear a stupid chorus of "Sorry love Baby All Gone is all gone ha ha get it" Well admittedly it was funny the first time. Anyway I didn't get it, couldn't order it, had friends looking out for it etc. Christmas has been and gone and I still can't get it so tough luck. Basically it is a doll designed for three year olds and over. It has a magic spoon with which you "feed her tasty cherries from her cherry scented jar and her own magic milk formula from her magic bottle". What this means in real terms is that when you press the magic button on the magic spoon the cherries disappear inside the spoon. Silly me and thousands of kids, but I thought the doll ate it. A friend of mine put me straight and shattered the magic for me. Surely this is false advertising, or do they word it just right? Anyway, my daughter is not emotionally scarred for not receiving it, it is just annoying and frustrating not to be able to buy it and to feel let down by the advertising. Have you had one of these? Was it any good? Am I right in thinking it's only a doll and it is only the spoon that is magic? If I'm right, does anyone have a magic spoon? P.S. couldn't fill in all of the boxes, as I haven't played with it yet.
This doll eats up all her food every time. What a good girl! When you press the magic spoon to her lips, the cherries disappear. The doll comes with a cherry scented food-jar; a magic feeding bottle with disappearing milk, and a magic feeding spoon.
