Even though we do not have a early learning centre shop near us, we were fortunate enough to receive a few gifts for my daughter from here when she was born. One of these gifts was this Blossom Farm Woolly Sheep Squeaker Rattle, which can be purchased from the early learning centre within Mothercare for £5.00, which is a good price in my opinion.

This little woolly lamb rattle is very very cute. In fact, when I first saw it I thought it was very unusual in shape and design. This rattle is from a range of farm animal squeaker rattles from within the Blossom Farm range at the ELC. This rattle is tall and slim in design, as can be seen from the picture above. As it is a lamb, it is covered in white wool to create that fur effect. The face is also very cute, with a happy smile and then two brown ears that stick out at the side.

This is a squeaker rattle, as you can press the toy and it will squeak, but at the same time, it does act as a rattle, though not the high pitched common noise of a rattle, but a baby could shake it and it will squeak as well, especially when you shake it from side to side quickly.

THis toy is suitable from birth, and although my daughter looked at it after a month or so, it wasn't until recently that she has really taken more enjoyment from this toy. She loves looking at the smily face and will smile back at the lamb when I put it in front of her. She is also trying at the moment to reach out and grab toys, and so the shape of this product, being tubular is perfect for her little hands to be able to get a grip of and hold. She has not quite mastered completely grabbing a toy as yet and so cannot squeak the toy herself or shake it, however she loves watching me do this, and it will only be a matter of time before she is able to hold this toy herself and make it squeak for herself and so I imagine there is quite a lot of fun to be had with this still!

All in all, this is a really cute squeaker toy for a little baby, and is especially good when they are at the stage of trying to grab things and hold them themselves, due to the tubular shape of this toy. It really is very very cute and it is certainly a hit with my daughter!
