These soft cubes were a brilliant investment (at £10 I wasn’t risking much anyway!). My baby loves them and she happily spends hours playing with them, squealing with delight and kicking her little legs for all they’re worth – a sure sign of approval! They’re 4 soft cubes, measuring about 15cmx15x15, and there are different pictures and activities on each face. One of them jingles, one of them rattles, while the other two remain serenely silent. There are close-up faces of farmyard animals with the noise they make written next to them, and a couple of them have squeakers to press. There are several animals securely attached by ribbons that ‘hide’ in pails/pens or whatever – my daughter loves these because she can hold onto them easily and then wave them about, and they usually end up all soggy from endless chewing. A couple of the animals have tails attached to them – isn’t it funny how even these simple things fascinate babies? There are also numbered sides and lettered sides. When my daughter will be a bit older, she’ll be able to do the activities, like stroking the donkey’s ears or tickling the cat’s nose. These cubes have been really well thought out, so well in fact that they simply must have been designed by a parent. They are light and easy for her to grasp. The colours are bright and attractive and really appeal to my baby. Knowing my daughter is content to play happily with her cubes means I have some free time to write some more doyoo opinions, so I must recommend them for that alone!
