~*~*~ Born to Play - Winnie the Pooh Tigger Infant Chair ~*~*~
~ What is it? ~
This is an inflatable chair in the style of Tigger from Winnie the Pooh.
~ Why I bought it ~
I bought this sometime in the spring/summer this year for my youngest son. I bought it mainly because it was so cheap and quite cute.
I bought it from a little local independant shop that sells lots of different bit's and bob's, it's a little bit like an over priced pound shop really! I paid just £3.99 for this chair and knew from the one already inflated in the shop that this chair was really small.
It came packaged in a small cardboard box with an image of the chair on the front and back. Inside the box was the chair wrapped in a small polythene bag and a puncture repair kit.
~ The chair ~
The main reason for my purchase was the price but I knew my youngest son would like it and the fact that the chair is so small made it ideal as my son was about 1yr old when I bought it. His brothers sit around with him on giant cushions so I thought that he would like his own little chair to sit on.
The chair needs to be inflated before use and I did this by simply blowing it up by mouth as it is so small there really is no need to get the pump out. The main seat bit needs pumping up and so does the back rest which makes up the top of Tiggers body. There is a small plug and airflow inlet in the bottom of the chair and also at the back of Tiggers head.
Tiggers arms make up the arm rest and it is like you are sitting on Tiggers lap. It's quite cute and my son likes having his own chair rather than his highchair etc.
The colours are nice and bright and are very Tigger like, the chair even has a tail!
I wasn't surprised by the size of this chair as I had already seen it inflated in the shop however the dimesions are -
Height - 55cm
Width - 52cm
Depth - 54cm
My five year old sits on the chair sometimes but it is small for him, it is however the ideal size for my youngest who is now 15 months old. He likes to sit on it to drink his bottle in the morning and when his brothers are all sat around.
I deflate it when he is in bed and blow it up in the morning as I have no room for it even though it is small, but it has lasted really well, I haven't needed to use the puncture repair kit which is quite lucky as I have lost it!
~ Overall ~
For the cheap price I paid I wasn't expecting much but this is a nice enough little chair that will be ideal for the garden in the nicer weather - If we ever get some!
Thanks for reading :o) x
