What you get and assembly
This activity centre comes in a large box but needs to be fully assembled. This actually took my partner about an hour but was well worth it. You are supplied with screws to assemble the main play table which wasnt easy and it was quite difficult to fit the body sections together. The seat attachment comes as one unit and very simply attaches to and from the play table. The seat cover need to be fitted and is very tight to get on but once it's on it's fine. Some of the toys come fitted into the table and others come separate but you only have to clip them into their sections on the table. The table seems very sturdy, there are grips on the bottom of the play table and I don't feel it will topple over when it's in use. The colours are unisex so perfect for either a boy or girl.
There are so many different textures, colours, shapes and noises that this will keep baby occupied for ages. There is a small 5 key piano, the sounds are ok but I was a bit disappointed that the keys didn't light up. You have an option to turn the sounds on and off which is useful! There is a small flip book, just two pages with different fish and frog faces on which my baby enjoys flipping turning over and over. Popping up fish are in a pond type section and a frog that you can move and a butterfly spins around. Over that is a semi circle with a spinning fish and movable beads. You also have a spinning bee, mirror, frog spinner toy and 2 bendable butterflies that can also be used as tethers. I like the fact that there is also a removable food and drink holder. So funny to watch baby spinning around grabbing a snack on the way! The toys are well built and can withstand much bashing by my toddler nephews without doing any harm at all.
I was looking for a type of walker but was concerned about buying a standard walker for my home because my rooms are quite small and I felt she would be hitting into all my furniture and being quite restricted in terms of where she could move but this product solved all of those problems. The walker spins 360 degrees around the play table and gives so much freedom because my baby can also spin 360 degrees in the seat itself. To work properly it has to be put on a level floor, it moves with ease on my wooden floor but also not a problem on my rug or carpet. It takes baby a little while to get used to the movement but then she runs in circles at high speed very quickly. I run around it and she loves to chase me!
The walker attachment can be removed when baby is bigger so it is also fun for a toddler.
The play table and walker are not adjustable, my baby has long legs so probably won't be using this for as long as I had hoped.
This retails for around about £100. I actually brought it when it was half price in the argos sale and although it is well worth what I paid I don't think it's worth £100 and I would hold off buying this until it goes on sale.
