I bought this for my littleys first Christmas, bearing in mind he was only 8 months old, I didn't think he would get much use out of it at first but he did!!
He loved pressing the buttons to make the propeller on the front spin around and light up.
Pooh sits at the front and bob's up and down when the propeller spins and my son loved seeing him jiggle about!
This ride on is also a push along, so helps babies when they are trying to walk and I know it helped my son loads! He would grip the handle and toddle along... aww it's sooo cute!!
The ride on has lovely bright colours and lots of interactive buttons for baby to play with. The seat lifts up and more often than not we would find loads of dummies hidden away in there!
On the side is a little shape sorting plate and t comes with the shapes to insert.
It's like an activity gym really, there's lot's of lovely features and I would recommend it to anyone.
It is available from amazon priced at £42.99 but I only paid £20 from Asda although that was a few years back.
The ride on is nice and sturdy and is still in one piece in the shed now, even after at least a years use.
Requires 3 AA batteries. Although mine did come with them.
It comes in different colour ways too, I think when Asda had them in stock, they had this purple one shown (the one that I have) and a red version.
On the propeller at the front it has lots of little lights and as the propeller spins these light up in red, blue and green, to form a spinning circle.
On the side it has the wings of the plane which also double as foot rests.
It's a nice chunky ride-on toy that is stable enough to hold even the clumsiest toddler in place! On the back it also has a square of plastic which stop the ride-on from flipping back should your little one lean to far, it's also good for when the are walking with it again it stops it toppling over.
I came across with this toy when I started working for my current family as a nanny. They bought it on ebay for £34.99, at that time the child was only 5 months old so we put it away till his birthday. When we got it out, he was just the happiest little boy of the world, he loved it, and as he was just about to start walking it was a great help as he used it as a babywalker. He loved sitting on the top and pressing the buttons and being pushed all over the house (I was not so keen on that one). He is so obsessed with teddy bears that even his first was "teddy", I'm sure because we mentioned winnie the pooh on the front so many times.
Pooh is the pilot on this aeroplane, when you press the buttons it talks and moves up and down to the music as well, the dashboard has blinking lights and the propeller rotate with light-up patterns as well. We realized after about 2 months that the speed of the propeller depends on the gear, you can shift it into 3 different position. It is really colourful and on the side there are holes for sorting blocks, with rewarding sounds, it also has landing and lift off sound. It's very bright and colourful, my charge's favourite activity is at the moment pushing his best friend around the house with high speed. The wings of the aeroplane are foldable, very useful when you have narrow corridors! It's suitable for children aged 12-36 months, and requires 3xAA batteries. The battery last for about a month (average daily use is about an hour), but we don't always change it as the sounds can be annoying after a while! It also doesn't have a turn off button so can be annoying on the long run. It's not too big, the measurements are 55x28x46 and it weights 7.5 pounds.
Overall I would recommend this product, it's good fun and it entertains a very energetic toddler!
