Advantages: More than just a rattle

Disadvantages: Big for little babies

I was given one of these as a present when my baby was born. Even though it says 6 months my baby was getting some enjoyment from me shaking it before then. It has hard and soft strands that are suitable for teething. There are little bit of plastic that move up and down the strands that make the noise. It is quite easy for baby to get hold of but is could be a little bit heavy to shake for the smaller baby. You can roll it a little bit but it doesn't go far. To make it giggle (or limp squeak) you just have to turn it from side to side but it is a lot easier to make it rattle. My little boy quite likes it and it is a bit more interesting for him than a basic rattle. If you get given one I think your baby will like it!
