Advantages: Stimulating with all it's colours and complex design

Disadvantages: Not very easy to make it giggle

I spotted this in an Early Learning Centre and just thought it was so complicated and intriguing that I had to buy one. It is a ball which has various pipes around the outside with beads on, balls inside tubes that run through the centre of the ball, the pipes are soft and hard for teething, beads can be pushed along the pipes and if you shake it hard enough it will make a funny giggling sound.

At £7 I thought it was a real bargain and my son loves to shake it about and watch the beads fall down. You do have to shake it really hard to get the giggle sound though, although it will just rattle when shaken too.
