ELC Activity Triangle
Advantages: Bright, colourful, strong and sturdy!
I bought this activity triangle from the early learning centre part of my local Mothercare store for my son for Christmas. I paid £11 for it in a sale, I think it was around £14 originally. I had been on the look out for one of these, so I was happy I got it for a good price! It is worth every penny I paid for it, my son loves it. In the picture shown on dooyoo, the activity triangle is exactly the same as the one I bought, it has the same activities on it, but mine is a different colour. Mine is mostly red and green.
This is a triangle toy, like a cube, but in the shape of a triangle, I can't find the words to describe the shape of it! You can see what I mean from the picture though! It has lots of different things for your baby to play with on each side. On one side there is a bar with shapes to spin around and move along the bar, and below is another bar with balls on to spin. On another side there is a shape with a cow face on it, which your child has to work out how to move, it moves along a zigzag line, and also another shape underneath, which you spin to move along the line. On the other side of this toy, there is two rectangular shapes which your baby can hit at, and they spin around really fast. On the base and top of the triangle are more toys to hit and spin. On the sides that hold the triangle together, there are small beads in columns, that spin around a spiral to get to the other end. When you shake the toy, these beads make a rattling noise, and my son always looks round straight away when I shake it. The noise instantly attracts him.
My son loves to play with all the different activities on this triangle, and he can even hold it and pick it up himself, at only 8 months old, it isn't too heavy at all. Although he does tend to shake it too hard and hit himself in the head with it! He loves to shake it, to make noise and is always spinning things on it and just watching it, he is fascinated with it! All the activities are all different colours, which are really bright and bold.
This toy feels really strong and sturdy, and the little toys don't look like they can be broken or pulled off easily. I would definitely buy another one of these, my son loves it and plays with it every day, I highly recommend it!
Summary: A good buy!
