We first bought our daughters the cut and play pizza to go with their kitchen to see how they'd get on with it and were so impressed we went out and bought this one too. It's great for their imaginations, great for learning and great for letting mummy cook in the kitchen in peace!
This set is made up of 10 different vegetables, a chopping board and a plastic knife (just incase anyone thought it was real!) It includes your average carrot and potato to the slightly harder cucumber, red pepper and aubergines that your little ones may or may not have heard of until now. The vegetables can be cut apart with the plastic knife and easily stuck back together again using the velcro attached to each piece and this makes it a wonderful toy for playing games with and learning.
Sometimes we play cafes, little cooks, have a house corner or simply take pieces out of the box and play guess the vegetable! It's amazing what you can do with something so simple and we've had ours of fun with it. My 18 month old has an interest in these too and they're going to be great when it comes to counting as it's something we can all play. The vegetables are made from a sturdy plastic too so there's no danger of her swallowing little bits if she puts it into her mouth thinking it's real food!
It's also a fantastic little toy for playing with in one of our pans in the kitchen whilst I'm trying to cook rather than having them hanging off my legs! She's cooking our supper in her little pan whilst I'm cooking ours without interruption which is always a good thing.
Overall, it's a fantastic little toy for any child that we use to have fun and teach them at the same time without them realising it!
Summary: A brilliant toy for any child
