These two wooden and simple to solve jigsaw puzzles were a present shortly after our daughter celebrated her first birthday. They are solid, hardy and near impossible to break, bright and colourful and feature both a cute cat and a dashing dog with pieces that can be removed and slotted back in to complete these two puzzles that come together as a set.

Both of these jigsaws are really cute and the bright colours really attract and hold your baby's eye. Each piece of the puzzle only slots in one place and is easy to grasp because of the wooden knob that protrudes from each segment. Early Jigsaws such as these are great at being both fun and educational at the same time and completing them is supposed to help with hand to eye co-ordination. The fact that these are so solid also means that as well as being easy to get hold of, it is less likely that these could get damaged and that is a big, big advantage as it means that they can take a fair bit of toddler abuse!

I really love these and so did my daughter when she was younger! She has started to grow out of them now but these were what started her off back when she first encountered jigsaw puzzles and now she cannot get enough of more and more complicated ones! Her favourite at the minute being one featuring Dora The Explorer and another Snow White.

The fact that you get two puzzles for your money also makes these great value though I am not sure what they cost because as I said, they were a present. And with these, Early Learning Centre have really set out once more to prove that they are the place to go whenever you are looking for younger focused good quality toys that can better combine learning and fun.
