Advantages: happy tunes, easy to use
Disadvantages: short cord, lights should be buttons
i purchased this toy from the early learning centre when my son Adam was about 8 months old. It is a telephone with a dial that rotates and a big red button in the middle that plays tunes when pushed. It has about 6 different tunes on it, some common recogniseable tunes and some not. As the music plays the lights flash. You can pick the receiver up and it is great for playing pretend games, although phones are not really like this anymore. i found the cord on the phone to be a bit short even for Adam to play with. This is a good toy which kept Adam amused for a while once he'd learnt to turn the dial. The big problem i found was that he thought that the flashing lights were buttons and would always try and press them. All in all a good toy, a basic essential for any toy box.

- 22/05/03 Yeah, welcome to dooyoo.
Kind of short compared to the average Very Useful opinion, but I suppose there's not that much to say about a kiddies fake phone so what the hell!
Hope you enjoy yourself here and make some new friends.
Cheers,
