Manic Martians is a fantastic little game designed for children aged 3 and over. However, we recently bought it for our almost 2 year old daughter from a car boot sale for 50p and she absolutely adores it. So a little bit about the game. ~ Contents ~ The game is basically made up from a round frame with 12 holes in it, 6 green aliens, 6 red aliens and two mini hammer things with holes at the front. The only thing not included in the game is 1 size C battery (Which can be purchased from ELC at time of purchase or cheaper from another supermarket.) There are two ways of playing the game which are both written on the box. ~ Gameplay ... Read the complete review

Manic Martians is a children's game from ELC. It costs £5 and requires 1 X C battery, which is not provided. It is suitable for children aged 3 and above. ***Contents*** 1 crater shaped game base 12 manic Martians (6 green and 6 orange) 2 space rocker boppers The base is made from sturdy purple plastic and is shaped like a crater. I bought this lovely game as a present for my daughter for her 3rd birthday. She had played it at a friends house and absolutely loved it so when I found it in the Early Learning Centre for a mere £10 I decided to purchase it for her. The game is advertised for ages 3 - 8 years but I feel most 2 year olds would get the basic concept of the game. The game comes with a round plastic basic which has 12 holes where you place in your 12 little martians. In the version we have there are 6 green ones and 6 red ones, I think there are different coloured versions of this game about dependent on when it was purchased. You then switch the machine ... We bought this game one rainy day last winter from the Early Learning Centre discount outlet in McArther Glen. It was reduced to £3 so I thought it didnt really matter if it wasnt very good. However this game did not disappoint. It has a large blue base which has 12 house that the martians can fit into. Ours is different in colour to the picture here as our martians are blue and red. Each martian fits into a hole and on the martians head is a little round ball. You get 2 boopers (as we call them). These are plastic long plastic hammer like tools which have a corrigated plastic spring on the end with a small hole on the bottom. Once you have fitted the ... Read the complete review

ELC Manic Martians is a great game for young children. It ticks all the boxes - learning through colour recognition, hand eye coordination, competitiveness, and uses up excess energy! So the game. It consists of a round crater containing 12 holes which house 12 martians, 6 green and 6 orange. The game also comes with 2 space bobbers which look like hammers - they have a split in the plastic at the end which is how you catch the martians - the martians themselves have a small bobble on their heads which gets caught in the hammer. The game requires batteries and when turned on the aliens bob up and down. The idea is to catch all of your aliens using the ... Read the complete review
