Advantages: well made
Disadvantages: no
We have an early learning musical activity set at school just like the one in the picture. I do not think this identical one is available from the E L C but there is a similar, updated one where the pieces are triangular shaped and fit together to form a tambourine. It costs £10
The set we have at school we have had for several years I think it cost nearly £10 then. It is a good strong musical toy as it often get dropped / eaten / thrown across the room.
This toy is suitable for a baby 12 months upward.
This set is made up of 4 shakers made of plastic, easy to clean. Each shaker has an easy to grip and hold handle. Important for the children I work with and small children who cannot grip well.
The shakers are different colours orange, purple, green and yellow.
Each one has a different sound. One has little cymbals; one has a cylinder with little beads that make a sound like a rainmaker.
One has some clackers the one we have used a lot this last week or so is the jingle bell shaker this has I think 8 little bells to shake and jingle.
These noise making bits are very firmly attached to the shaker, very little fear of them coming off in baby’s mouth.
These musical toys would make an excellent Christmas present for a little one. Helping develop rhythm and listening skills.
Good to play with these either independently or child can play along to music , join your baby playing with these sing a song with them all this helps develop their language .
Thanks for reading now lets all join in jingle bells jingle bells.
