What a great little set of noisy instruments these are!
If you nip down to your local E.L.C;you'll find these amongst the whistles,bells & castonets!
They are nicely boxed up in what looks like an "open" flat-pack,but you can clearly see what you're buying-which is very important & also makes a nice change.
The set contains four shakers that are made out of nice chunky plastic,that have very easy to grip handles & each shaker has a different sound.
One has the classic "jingle" bells,8 little bells on 2 rows-very jingley!
One has tiny plastic colourful beads,securely encased in a thick,clear,plastic cylinder which can be rotated-makes a kind of "rain" sound.
Another has thumb-like cymbals,again securely fixed to the shaker.
Lastly,one has a row of clackers-very noisy!-no good for those "headache" days!
Each shaker is a different colour.
At £10, i think these are a very good buy & are indestructable & very safe.I do believe there is a slightly different version for 6 months plus, where the thumb-like cymbals are more encased,however these will last for ages & give your baby heaps of fun.My 13 month old daughter loves them.
Put them out of site though if you're feeling tired & delicate!
