Wonderful toy (ELC Tumble Tortoise)

Advantages: many play options for this toy

Disadvantages: ball can be a little heavy for babies.

I bought this toy for my oldest daughter when she was 6 month old and now 2 years down the line she still loves it and often plays with it. I must say that the tortoise itself went on the side line for a while in favour or rolling the ball that makes the tortoise "shell" around and looking at the little beads inside it to check if she could get them to move around (this btw also kept mummy and daddy fascinated for several evenings in the end we had to stick it in another room every evening <g>)

But about 2 years old she rediscovered the tortoise itself as we had put the pull along string back on so she now uses it as a pull along toy and she is very happy with it.

the toy itself is the "shell" ball that as mentioned has a lot of beads inside it (makes a rain like noise) and then there is the green tortoise (banana) body and 4 little balls as feet (read wheels). It is a sturdy toy that has coped very well with a over enthusiastic toddler throwing and rolling (even standing) on it with it. And at under £8 it is not exactly expensive. All in all a great toy.
