Lottie received this pig as a Christmas present and it is the one toy I give to her and she loves every single time and its always guaranteed to make her dance and giggle. Now the actual toy is very stable and quite heavy so Lottie who is now 18 months always grabs it with both hands. The picture above is how it exactly looks.

The whole toy is plastic and takes 3 AA batteries. The purple hair at the top is silky fabric curled upand it is only the nose which is made from a rubbery type material. This toy is good as a sensory exploration for babies and is reccommended from 6 months old. The ears stripes and square dots on them, the body has swirls, the arms have dots and the legs have curved lines. This is great for baby to touch and explore.

It is a very friendly looking toy with a huge smile on his face. So when you have the toy I hold it out to Lottie and when she takes it I press the nose. The nose does take some pushing for a babies toy so that would be my only slight disadvantage. When you press the noise there are two types of things that happen. The first is that the pig giggles and then vibrates for a little while after. When I say short while it is literally about five seconds.

Second thing is that it plays a jaunty tune at you and vibrates. This one lasts a little longer. That is basically all this toy does.

Now my thoughts are that this is a great toy as it is good for exploration of touch and also it is a bit of fun. Lottie loves it and immediately will dance along to the song and laugh when it vibrates. It is one toy which doesnt annoy me as its quite hard for her to press at the minute so it is not constantly going off. There is an off switch at the back though just in case.
