Advantages: Encourages role play, Cheap & cheerful toy.

Disadvantages: The cord for receiver is quite short but possibly due to safety reasons.

This is another of my daughters toys, I got it from Toy R us at the same time I purchased the Fisher price Dog. Again this phone is slightly different from the picture above as it is a girlie designed one. The base is a pale pink colour, the wheels and hand piece are pink and the cheeky smilie face has pink cheeks instead of red.
These can currently be found in Tesco for just under the £6 mark which I feel is a very fair price for a quality built toy. These are again a classic toy that has been around for many years without many changes being made to it.

To be honest my daughter doesn't play with this much anymore as would rather play with her toy mobile phone or my own mobile when she gets her hands on it. I do like toys that encourage abit of role play and understanding how things work.

This phone is a pull a long one and when you do this the eyes at the front go up and down as if saying "here we go again". The cord which is made from like twine material is a good length for a toddler to be able to pull it along behind them.
The dial of the phone can be turned round as if dialing a number which does have numbers 0-9 on it and when released it makes a quiet ringing noise, bit like the old fashioned phones that most people used to have(gosh they were annoying waiting for the dial to return to 0 before doing next number). The phone receiver has a little cord also made of same as pull a long cord and you can lift it up but there is nothing to hear, and you kind of need the phone in your face whilst putting the receiver to your ear as the cord is quite short, possibly due to safety reasons.

This toy is strong and well made in China. I do feel it could do with another button or two to be pressed but for under £6 this is well worth the money.

Summary: Lovely toy to have that survives the test of time. Cheap to buy and not too noisy.
