This toy telephone is aimed at baby and preschool aged children, it retails at around £10 in most stores. The phone has been around for quite some time as it was originally brought in our house for my first child who is now nearly ten and is still going strong four children later so is in my opinion a very well made and durable toy to have survived all the rough play of my daughters.

The telephone has a string on the front to pull it along which makes a sound as it goes along, the string has been made too short for a young child to be able to wrap it around there neck so is made with safety in mind but not practicality as it is too short to stand up and pull along even for my one year old daughter so they have to sit down and pull it along.

My daughters have all at one point or another been fascinated by the eyes on this phone that go up and down, they all have loved this and think it is one of the best features of this toy.

The cord between the phone and the handset has been made very short too to stop baby being able to strangle them selves with it but this does mean that you have to hold the phone quite high up to your face to be able to talk through the hand set but having said that none of my children seem to have noticed this so maybe its only us adults who will.

My daughters have all loved watch9ing the eyes move on this phone, pulling it along and dialling with the turn dial, which also makes a noise, they have had hours of fun with it and for how long it has lasted is a great investment for any child.
