Fisher Price Bubble Mower

My little one loves copying everything mummy and daddy do, and so when we saw this Fisher Price Bubble Mower, we knew we had to get it, especially as, looking out of the window, the garden was in desperate need of mowing, and with the warm weather recently, I just knew my little one would love to copy daddy in the garden!

The price of this mower is a little expensive for what it is at £20.00, though this is a lot cheaper than some toys similar to this. We were lucky to get this second hand, practically brand new, for only £7.00 so we got a real bargain!

To put this mower together takes literally seconds thank goodness (I have never been great at putting complicated children's toys together!) with only two main parts which simply slot together.

The lawnmower is quite attractive with its bold red and blue colours with silver handle which is adjustable to your childs height. The age recommendation is two years plus and I think this is about apt with regards to the height. I would say that, depending on a childs height, the mower will last a good few years before they are too big for it. The wheels of the mower are large and have a good grip enabling the child to push it along easily.

When the mower is pushed along it does sound like a lawnmower (though a lot quieter you will be glad to hear!).

One of the main things which attracted us to this mower opposed to other makes (apart from the bargain price we got it at!) was the bubble feature. You simply attach the bubble carton onto the front of the base and you are ready to go. I was expecting to see loads of bubbles come out, though unfortunately this is not what happened. I did wonder whether this may be due to it being second hand (even though it was practically brand new) though I have read a few reviews on this which seem to all have the same issue. One or two bubbles will come out every so often, though certainly not in a fluid motion and not many at a time which is really disappointing.

The bubble feature is the main feature to attract people to buy this item and it is sad to say that it really does not work as well as it should. Apart from this, though, the mower looks great and is very durable and my little one loves it...apart from the bubble issue!

Summary: A good mower though has a few problems
