Meet Charlie the Chatter Phone~Fisher price Pull along Chatter Phone I think most of us remember or owned a Fisher Price chatter phone when we were younger. I loved mine and I decided this would be really good for the role play corner as well as being a great baby toy so bought one for my setting online at Amazon. ~The Look~ Charlie the chatter phone is made of plastic and he has four red wheels and a blue base his upper body is white and he has a turn able rainbow dial with numbers 0-9 on it these make a ringing sound when you turn the dial , just like the old phones did. Charlie has a really friendly smiling face and his eyes move ... Read the complete review

I couldn't believe it when I saw this phone one day in Asda - I remembered having one exactly like this when I was a child and making it ring by dialling all the numbers just like our real telephone! I'm not sure if I bought it for me or for my daughter, though! This toy is still the same - same colours (although you can buy it in pink too), wobbling eyes when you pull it along, and round dial so that you can dial numbers. The receiver is a bit different, however, as it is extremely short! I suppose this is because of health and safety regulations, but surely a bit longer would be OK?! It means that even a baby like my daughter, sitting on the ... Read the complete review

Having just had Christmas and a first birthday only three weeks apart, my youngest son now has a small mountain of new toys to choose from. The one that is currently receiving the most amount of attention, and quite frankly the unexpected favourite, is a Fisher Price Chatter Phone. This toy was something that I, oops I mean Santa, decided upon at the last minute after seeing it in Home Bargains at the very reasonable price of £2.99. I was immediately attracted to the phone as I could remember owning one myself back in the 1970s and the design doesn't seem to have changed in the slightest. Incidentally, the picture at the top of the page shows a ... Read the complete review

I bought my granddaughter a Chatter Phone from Fisher Price around 4 months ago when she was 14 months old. She had been walking for a while by this time and was stable enough to be able to pull the phone along behind her, I remember my daughters' had the 1970's/80's version of this toy and they both loved it so I was in no doubt that my granddaughter would adore it! To cut a long story short, she didn't. And the temper tantrums that this silly phone caused meant that every adult in the family loathed the toy within a month! Yes, it's still a lovely looking chunky phone with a happy smiling face. It still has the same tinkly dial on the front of ... Read the complete review

I can't believe these phones are still around! I had a Fisher Price phone when I was a child back in the *cough* 70's and it lasted through my three younger siblings and my mum even used it when she became a child minder. The phones have changed slightly but not a great deal. They are now made of hard white plastic with big red wheels. There is a little smiley face on the front and the eyes waggle up and down when the phone is pulled along. It looks more like an old fashioned phone with a big handset across the top and a dial. There is a long cord on the front so you can pull the phone along and it makes a funny squeaky sound as it moves. The ... Read the complete review
