A good toy but not the best by Fisher Price (Fisher Price Go Baby Go Sit to Stand Giraffe)

Advantages: Promotes good hand and eye coordination

Disadvantages: A bit boring

I bought this for my son when he was nine months old. Basically the toy comes with three different coloured balls and when you feed them in to the giraffes mouth they roll down, dissapear and then pop out one of the four exits which are the feet of the giraffe. The giraffes ears are handles which apparantly can help the child to stand from a sitting position. I find this difficult to believe because when my son tried to pull himself up using the 'ears' the toy is not heavy enough to hold such weight. It's a great toy but I would not recommend buying it to help your child stand up. But i would recommend it otherwise as it promotes many other important skills - hand and eye coordination, thinking skills, stimulation etc.
As you put the balls in to the giraffes mouth it starts the music which is a great tune. It also has volume control and requires 3 x AA batteries which are not included in the box.
Overall i would recommend this toy but it is not the best Fisher Price have made. My son gets bored quite quickly with this toy.

Summary: I would still recommend this toy
