Most played with toy in our house! (Fisher Price Laugh & Learn Baby Grand Piano)
Member Name: lunarc
Advantages: Lots of different ways to interact Disadvantages: None! We bought the Laugh and Learn piano when our oldest was about 6 months old and it's been the BEST investment we've ever made in a toy! Our oldest is now 3.5 and has a 2 year old little brother and they both still play with the piano on a regular basis. The piano has about 8 brightly coloured keys which light up, either as you're pressing them or in time to the music that's playing. There is also a book which you can change the pages of and a different tune plays depending on which page is open. There are different modes, from "free play" to songs to counting, so it's good for a variety of ages where different stimulation is required. Our kids both particularly loved flicking through the pages in the book to get the different tunes to play and dancing along with them! There are also a few musical gadgets at the back, including a tempo control and a few other buttons which each play different musical pieces or sound effects. These are great for teaching children about concepts such as fast and slow. Absolutely great fun and the music still doesn't irritate us, unlike some other toys I could mention! Summary: An excellent, engaging toy which is a big hit in our household. |
