... my daughter loved looking at the fish and the music seemed to soothe her quite quickly. There are a couple of downsides, 1 being the light projecting onto the ceiling, I found it had to be very dark in her room to see the lights and even then they were not very clear - luckily my daughter wasnt worried about this and just had fun looking at the fish which were closer. And the other thing is the batteries do not last very long so we had to change these many many times. The product allows you to choose what you want...more

Premium Review Fisher Price Lights n Sounds Aquarium: Fisher Price Aquarium Cradle Swing (399 words)
by - written on 20/08/05 (Very useful, 398 readings)
Rating:

When i first saw the Aquarium cradle swing i was a little unsure as to wether or not it would be a good buy,i based this solely on it's price (£100)and that my baby would only be able to use it for 5-6 months. When i collected the box ,it was alot smaller than i expected so i assumed that it would be in hundreds of pieces and a nightmare to put together, but surprisingly it was quite easy. The swing is blue and white, it has a mobile with 4 soft toys(fish, seahorse, starfish & clam) which rotate around a water feature that also lights up. The sounds, mobile and light can all be used together or on there own,or switch them all off and ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Fisher Price Lights and Sounds Aquarium (225 words)

This night light is in the form of an aquarium, it has rotating fish, three different light settings, four nature sounds, two lullabies and it projects a wave pattern onto the ceiling. This product is fantastic, it soothes and sends my baby off to sleep and when hes awake it keeps him entertained. There is a wide range of different sounds including two lullabies(Brahms and another) and the nature sounds (quiet and loud bubbles, wind and waves) and also a volume control and off switch, so you dont have to wait for it to wind down. It switches itself off after five minutes. It attaches easily to the cot and is recommended for children aged 0 - 36 ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Not impressed! (214 words)

I was really dissapointed in this product. We brought it for Christmas for our little girl who is six months. For a start, the projector on the top doesn't work on our ceiling. To test it I have tried holding a blank piece of paper at different heights above the projector, it doesn't work on ANY of them, (please tell me if you have this mobile and have a way of making it work!) Secondly, the sound effects on this product are AWFULL! It has three settings: lullaby, a bubbling water sound effect and wave sounds. None of them soothe my daughter at all. The lullaby is tinny and annoying and the water and waves sounds are set at a far too fast tempo- its like ...  Read the complete review

Fisher Price Lights n Sounds Aquarium: Soothes Baby to sleep everytime. (229 words)
by - written on 23/10/00

I bought this product while I was still pregnant but I waited months before finally finding one in Toys R Us (or anywhere else for that matter) because the product was so high in demand. It has been used since Matthew was born and it has always helped him to go off to sleep, especially in the early days when he was very unsettled as he found it difficult to adjust to live in the outside world. The best sound is the lapping waves, it soothed him off to sleep with the greatest of ease. I am one of these people who take ages to go to sleep and it even sorted me out, I sleep like a log now!!!!!!!! Luckily for us he settled down very quickly and ...  Read the complete review
