When it comes to buying toys for babies I simply love shopping. I was looking for a educational type toy for a 8+ month old child. I had seen the Fisher Price Little People Animal Sounds Farm on one of the children?s cartoons channel, it had caught my eye but I didn?t think more of it. That?s when I was in Toys R US and all the toys flash out at you. It was the Fisher Price Little People Animal Sounds Farm that stood out at me. The first thing I noticed on the box was the bright dazzling colours, the first thing I thought was yippppi we can do the colours with the toddler but there was simply more than bright colours with this Fisher Price Toy. It had the complete set of animal farm creatures, so children could learn about cows, sheep, horse, pigs. There was even a scarecrow which reminded me of the Scarecrow film we used to watch as children. There?s also a farmer, wagon, some farm equipment. It looked wonderful. I felt excited making the purchase it had so many things the child could learn. It was more than a toy, it was an educational god send. Children could learn without knowing it and that?s the best learning for any parent. Another reason I decided to purchase this toy was that, I figured the child could play with the toy for quite a while. In other words he would be playing with it for longer than five minutes. Even if he got older, the creatures, the farm would still come in handy until nursery age. Early learning for children is so important and buy buying the Fisher Price Little People Animal Sounds Farm I felt I was contributing to the child?s development as well as giving him a good Toy to play with. To operate the toy you need to ?AA? batteries. I would say it is suitable for children over 8+ but depending on age it is best played with supervision. It would be better if the parent talked the child through the farm. There?s a lot of things the child can do, they can move the animal objects, open doors and role pla
y as if they are the animal keepers. You can also listen to the tune of ?O Macdonald had a farm?..? There are other tunes that children can listen to. You can teach them the animal sounds but be careful before long your children might start mooing to much!!!! The Fisher Price Little People Animal Sounds Farm cost £29 and is available from most good toy shops. The only problem with this toy is that supervision is required and with little pieces you do have to be sure that they do not get lost or that your child does not swallow any pieces. Overall I think this will make a fantastic interactive toy which will have excellent educational value. They can play and learn at the same time.
