this was bought for our sons 1st christmas by a relative. It comes with 8 blocks although you can buy more if you wish. The only assembly required was to put the large wheel on the top in place. When we did this we found it doesnt move round very easily. The blocks can go in the see-saw, theres a flap that lifts up and a block fits on that, on the other side of the wheel theres a square that fits a block in it and it turns and a slide part. All these parts produce music when there are blocks in them. There is also a strip that has a square hold in it that blocks can be passed through and they go into a little storage area. Our son never had much interest in this toy, he did like to pull it along as a wagon. the handle folds undernearth and clips away for storage or if your child just likes to play with the blocks and activities on top. Would have been good if the activity on top was removable allowing it to be used as a normal wagon aswell
