Advantages: Fun , bright colours

Disadvantages: batteries don`t last long

My parents bought this train for my son at christmas 2 years ago , he was nearly 7 months old at the time and was getting very fedup with his soft toys.

Fisher Price as everyone knows is a good make and they really do seem to think about the children who will be using them like the fact that babies and children love bright colours.

The train is brightly coloured in red with bits of yellow and green whilst the carriages are mostly blue and yellow , the wheels are bright orange and the blue carriage is removable.
The train comes with 15 blocks which are made out of tough plastic and have a circus theme such as a clown ,monkey ,panda, lion and zebra . Some of the blocks have a round circle at the bottom and if you put them on the yellow carriage they will spin around as the train moves along the floor.

To start the train you just press the funnel and away it goes , it will light up and play a tune and some of the blocks with bob up and down , the train holds 5 blocks at a time.

This toy is for ages 6 months plus , my son is now 2 1/2 and he has only recently stopped playing with it. The train costs £19.99 but if you have a look in Toys r Us they are currently selling it for £14.99

Your child will have hours of fun my son would sit for ages putting the blocks on the train , pushing the funnel and then he would get so excited watching it move across the room , he also used the blocks to make a tower and then would get the train to crash into the tower , he laughed so much!

The train like the blocks is very well made it can easily survive being chucked across the room! If you want to give it a clean just use a damp cloth or I used to use baby wipes.

You will need 3 AA batteries and I have to say it is probably best to either get rechargable ones or a good make as the batteries don`t seem to last very long. There is also an on and off switch.

Is also on Ciao

Summary: Good value for money
