My son is probably peek a blocks' biggest fan. He loves them and so do I so I have to be honest, I encourage him to play with them. They are little cubes of clear plastic that contain all sorts of exciting things inside to stimulate babies. This giraffe for sorting peek a blocks can retail for up to £45. We were fortunate to receive ours as a hand me down. To be honest, there are other toys in the peek a block range that are more interesting than this and although my son really enjoys playing with it, I don't think he gets £45 worth of fun out of it!

You drop the peek a blocks into the giraffes's head and they stack up inside the neck of the giraffe. Each time you drop one, it makes a sound. You can use lots of different blocks with it but it comes with a few animal ones. I like these blocks, because animals is one of the fun things to teach to children when they are first learning words. My son does enjoy putting the blocks in and then pulling the lever to watch them tumble out again. But it isn't his first choice of peek a block toy and it wouldn't be mine either.

Recommended but only if you can find it cheaper than £45!
