Advantages: Not just blocks

Disadvantages: None

You know when your child has a toy and it is so lovely that you like it too? This fit that mould. They are lovely. I really like to look at them. I know it sounds silly but they are such bright happy colours and matching but unique. I think they look really lovely on the toy shelf. Obviously though that is not important at all when it comes to a toy!

My son loves them. He really does. They are one of the few toys that he does not tire of and each time I get them out, he makes a bee line to them.

They are little plastic toys of different textures and colours and each contains various little pieces or move in different ways. Each one is different. My favourite is the transparent one that contains little cars - it is so cute. My son seems to like the one that has a part that moves up and down on the side. Our 18 month year old friend likes the one with a bug on a spring that wiggles... actually maybe that's my favourite! It's so hard to pick as they are all really sweet.

They are very sturdy and the corners are slightly rounded so most importantly there are no sharp edges to harm a baby. Also though, the lack of sharp edges means that when they are thrown around, they are less likely to crack.

My son does not stack them yet but when an older child comes to play, the first thing she does is stack them together. I think I will get at least one more set for when my son is at an age where he wants to build things. At the moment he is happy with exploring one at a time and just putting them in his mouth and having a good taste!

Summary: Highly recommended!
