Fisher Price Rock-A-Stack

Let me tell you about the fisher price rocka stack. This toy is basically a pole on a base that your child stacks rings. There are many similar stacking toys available from different toy makers we have one of these in the early year's dept of the special school I work in. Fisher price has made this toy since 19 60 I believe maybe slightly updated now but still the same basic toy. This has been part of my children's toy collection since my eldest was a few months old. The version we have is the same as in the picture above. It is all completely made from plastic and the base is slightly curved underneath which I presume is what gives it the name 'Rock-A-Stack'. The yellow pole in the middle is chunky and thick but of a small enough size so that small chunky hands can grab it. This toy came to us in a bin liner form a friend. It's a bit tired looking but who knows how long it's been around and how many children's hands it has passed through. The toy is made of plastic and consists of a pole with five coloured hoops on it. Each hoop is made of plastic and each one is a different colour and size. If you didn't have one of these as a child then you were severely deprived! The toy is obviously very hardy and although the white pole has a gone a little yellow, there is still plenty of play left in it yet. This toy is one that my little girl has loved for the past year and every week without fail she will play with it at creche. My only problem is finding the exact same one for home, we have a slightly different one but I will review the one at creche. The whole toy is made out of plastic, which makes it easy to clean and it consists of a white pole with five different sized and coloured hoops which fit on the pole. The toy is very robust and must have been through hundreds of childrens hands, the pole has turnly slightly yellow but there is nothing wrong with it and the rings are still bright and eye catching.
