      Cute jumping teddy

For Christmas my daughter received this turbo tailed tiger for Christmas as she loves Winnie the pooh and all characters related. The to was half price at £15 and its usual retail is around £30. The toy itself is a semi soft plush its soft enough to cuddle but has some firmness to it to hold it upright and in place to bounce. He has a long softer tail that coils round a few times underneath him which is the part that actually makes him bounce. To make him start to bounce and sing you press his left hand that only needs a slight pressing and so even the tamest of children can get him to work. When he starts he last for around 30 seconds jumping up and down on the spot singing his famous catchphrase song 'The wonderful thing about Tigger's and around 5 more phrases like come bounce with me that are randomly played when press his left hand so that the child dosent get bored with the same sequence of phrases. The toy is an exact copy of the popular TV character and the voice is the same too which is nice. It is very well made and although he dosent really do much he has lasted well. There is an on off button underneath tigger there is a velcro section to allow acess to change the batteries. It requires 4 AA batteries which are provided and although he has had alot of use tigger still has juice in the batteries provided when we brought him. This toy is recommended from ages 18 months up to 4 years old. I found that my youngest son loved it but for my 2 slightly older children they just lost interest after 5 minutes. I would not pay the full retail price but it is a nice little toy all the same.

A bouncing tigger that suits all children and will make them laugh

This is my son's favourite toy. Although the age says 18 months plus we actually bought it for him when he ws only two months and even as a tiny baby he loved to watch tigger bounce up and down, it mesmerised him. Now at 26 months he can press tiggers hand himself and bounce along with tigger. The toy works by pressing Tigger's right hand and then he bounces on his springy tail and sings "The Wonderful Thing About Tiggers". He is very sturdy and well made, and suitable for both girls and boys. He works using batteries but is no overly loud as some animated toys can be. I would throughly recommend this toy to anyone who loves Winnie the Pooh. He stand about 30cm tall and costs around £25, although many places seem to have on offer so it is worth keeping a look out for such offers. He uses 4 AA batteries, which are not included with the toy Your child won't be able to resist singing and dancing along with Tiggers crazy bouncing sound effects and fun phrases, too. Your toddler will delight in squeezing Tigger's hand over and over again to watch the bouncing action and join in the fun.

      Entertaining but perhaps not enduring

My daughter received this as a Christmas present and loved it on sight, she recognized Tigger and was completely thrilled when she discovvered that he also bounced and sang. She was about 18 months when she received him and before long she twigged on to how to activate him - by squeezing his left paw. She did play with him quite a lot to begin with however sadly i have to say that the novelty did wear off quite quickly and she more or less lost interest and he was pushed to the bottom of the toy box. I have since had baby number 2 who is 14 months old and i recently showed Tigger to her and received much the same reaction...she loved him. Time will tell if the novelty wears off with her too. In conclusion Bouncing Tigger makes a strong impression but I'm not sure if it is a toy that prove to be an enduring favourite. I'm pleased we have him however i'm not sure that if we had not received him as a present would actually go out and buy him.

      a cute bouncy interactive toy

My son recieved the Turbo Tail Tigger as a gift for Christmas. It has not been put in his toy box once and continuosly goes back to it throughout the day, he absolutely loves it. This toy is recommended from ages 18 months up to 4 years old. Tigger stands at a little over 13 inches. He stands on his coiled tail which is coiled round three times. There is a short strip of orange ribbon attatched to the base of Tigger and joins onto the end of the tail, this i believe is what helps give Tigger his bounce as it only stretches so far then stops. He is orange in colour with black stripes all over him. Before giving Tigger to your children to play with, there is a small tab to pull out at the back. To start him off you need to gently squeeze his left paw. My almost 2 year old is able to do this himself, which is great as he can go off and play with it whenever he likes and does not have to depend on me to do it for him. When Tigger gets going, he sings his well known song 'The wonderful thing about Tiggers'. He also uses a number of different phrases such as- 'Come on, bounce with me' 'Ready, steady, bounce' 'You are a tiggerific bouncer' 'Woohoohoohoo, my tail never fails' and 'Let's bounce again'. As Tigger bounces around on his coiled tail, he moves slightly to the side at each bounce and his arm bounces up and down as he goes along. It actually sounds like Tigger sounds on the tele, which was a nice surprise as i wasn't sure how true to Tigger it would sound. My almost 2 year old son finds this lots of fun and it keeps him entertained for ages. Although he can't jump properly yet he constantly tries to jump and imitate Tigger by lifting up his one leg off the floor(this is his way of jumping). It requires 4 AA batteries which are actually included when you buy the toy. There is an on/off switch at the back which is accessable through a velcro opening in the material. This is where you replace the batteries as well, the flap is screwed down on top of the batteries so there is no risk of your little ones gaining access to them. The recommended retail price at the time of buying this toy was £24.99 but i paid only £14.99 as it was offer. This is a toy that i would definately recommend for people with young children as it is lots of fun and is something that my son keeps going back to even though he has only had it a short time. We have definately had our moneys worth already and a lot more.

We all know that the thing Tigger does best is bounce and this Tigger toy certainly does that Simply press his nose to watch him bounce about on his coiled tail and press his hand to listen to Tigger singing his signature song:"The Wonderful Thing About Tiggers". There are also plenty of fun sound effects and Tigger phrases to keep you giggling too.
