This is that little puppet off the Levi's advert. We all knew and loved him, he even had his own song but now he has gone away..... I personally would not have aimed this toy at children, well young ones anyway, because everyone loved flat eric! The company would have made more money targeting adults. The toy is not educational and is just like any other stuffed bear, by a lot more expensive. If only he could dance..... A bright yellow lovablr guy who has unfortunatly gone out of fashion, lets all shed a tear (especially if you hear his song)
Aw...Flat Eric, you'll all remember him from the Levi's ad....the stuffed yellow character who listened to groovy beats with his pal while driving, and I'm afraid I fell for him! Yes, at 20 I am the proud owner of my own Flat Eric. I paid £20, expensive due to the media fuss most likely. He's quite big though, soft, fluffy, yellow with dangly long arms and legs...and a really big merry smile!! I think he'd be a great toy for kids. But surely adults and kids alike cannot resist that cheery smile, he lights up the room! Although I've noticed cats can't stand him. =) So, if you (like me) enjoy an amusing quirky novelty thing or have kids into soft toys, Eric is the man for you! (Eric only likes to travel by car <G>)
After seeing the super cool Levi Stapress adverts, where Flat Eric sits in the car drumming his fingers in time to the music, I decided that I had to own one. Luckily, my husband didn't think I was mad in the slightest and I know he was secretly pleased when we made a trip to Toys'r'Us under the pretence that we wanted to buy our baby some toys. Although only 7 weeks old, our son's face was a picture when he "unwrapped" the parcel to find a bright yellow critter that was bigger than he was, with long, dangly arms and legs, sticky-up fur and a huge smile. Callum is now 16 months old and since then, whenever Flat Eric is around, my son gives him the biggest smile ever. He even called him Da-da once to our amusement and he is definitely Callum's (and our!) favourite toy! I recently discovered a flat eric beanie in Claires Accessories for £7.99 which is just the right size for him to take with him to his c/minders.
