This geometric shape stacker that we use at school is a Melissa and Doug product. This American company started in a garage in 1988 and now has moved to bigger premises. Melissa and Doug offer many products now and they are good value.


We have this geometric stacker on the shelf so that either children can choose it to play with, or we put it out on the table for them to play with.

This wooden Geometric stacker is 11" long by3.5" wide and 8.5" high.
The base has three poles to stack the shapes onto. There are 25 pieces they are a brightly colored wood equal numbers of rings, octagons and rectangles. There are red shapes orange shapes blue and yellow green ones too.

This toy is suitable for a child aged 2 and upwards.
This toy is good educationally as it will help a child master their motor skills, working with special needs children this is a skill we try and get our children to practice a lot.
The colours are good and bright good for aiding colour recognition. This toy can also be used for sorting recognizing the same shapes, learning about shapes their names, how they fit together.

Being basic shapes and not cute design this toy is suitable both for younger children and older children too who need to practice their skills a lot of the cute stackers are not so age appropriate for a 10 -16 year old

This toy is well made will last many play hours .It washes well with warm soapy water
