This is a great toy wooden toy puzzle that will last and last. The toy can currently be purchased from Amazon for £13.99 (July 2012). The puzzle is suitable from ages 2 years and upwards.

The toy comprises of 25 coloured wooden pieces and a natural wood base with 3 stacking poles. The wood is smooth and very durable. The stacker has 3 different puzzles to complete, the first if made up of round donuts that start big and end up small as you get to the top of the puzzle pole, the final piece is a ball (eight pieces in total), the second puzzle is a heptagon, the small principles apply (six pieces in total) the final puzzle is the hardest to complete, it is made up of eleven pieces, the pieces form a square, but each piece has been sliced into, so you have to fit the squares together first before you can fit it correctly onto the puzzle pole.

All of the pieces are made up of bright primary colours and they are chunky and easy to hold for toddlers.

My son really enjoys playing with this toy, he has yet to master it fully but he is able to put the pieces together, even if they are in the wrong order, it helps with dexterity, concentration, the identification of shapes and also colours.

Overall I would recommend this toy to others, it is well made, is very educational and will last a long time.
