      Disadvantages

Good sturdy toy for hours of fun.

      Age level:
Recommended for ages three and up, but I think its good for much younger children as well. There are no small pieces except the blanket and table cloth. I would recommend from 18 months to about 7.

Contents: Igloo house that folds into carry case, Pingu, Pinga and Robbie the Seal figures, sledge, table chairs, tablecloth, blanket, and very sturdy fold out playmat.

I bought this for my older son who has always adored Pingu. Now the younger one uses it as well. Its a very nice sturdy set ( an absolute necessity with my sons) and is still in perfect working order after 3 years so I am well pleased with it. Its great for hours of creative play, and everything tucks neatly away in the igloo when they are finished.

The biggest downside is that the Mother and Father figures aren't included and don't seem to be made anymore. I finally found them after a considerable amount of time spent searching ebay, and placing a high bid. While the set can be used without the parent figures, it really limits what stories can be acted out. That said it is still a brilliant set and well worth the money for any young Pingu fan. I hope to keep it and use it as a Christmas decoration when the children finally outgrow Pingu. Of course even when they do outgrow him, I wont -- Pingu Forever !
