The HappyLand Castle, its pink, it has a princess, what more could we ask for, for our daughter? We bought this as she was starting to grow into her 'princess' stage. We had had some HappyLand before so we knew she liked it and it would be safe for her. We paid £20 for this at the time as it was on offer in the Early Learning Centre. The set comes with the castle, a bed, two chairs, a King and Queen, a Princess and a Jester.

The castle itself opens out to reveal two floors; the main section of the house is the inside of the balcony section, as this is the area that has floors. Opposite the main section there is a set of stairs and another ledge area on the 1st floor. There are two doors on the castle, a double door under the balcony and a single door in the back of the castle. The doors all open, though I have to say that as with other HappyLand sets the doors are a little flimsy and with time they have actually come loosed enough to be taken off the castle. The furniture fits reasonably well inside the castle but there is not much room to spare and you have to get it in at the right angle in order to close the castle fully. This obviously isn't much of a problem but worth mentioning as it can feel as though the furniture is too large for the castle. As I've already said the castle comes with four characters, all of them are as well made as any HappyLand character and I have to say, when I play with my daughter I always enjoy being the jester.

All in all a good toy, but maybe a little flimsy ....especially for the price. The characters are imaginative (love the jester!) and apart from being a little on the large side the furniture is good and solid.
